![]() ![]() When i try to build my solution, i get the following errors :Įrror 1 error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _imp_deflateEnd D:\Projets\bin\test_grpc_client\grpc.lib(message_compress.obj) test_grpc_clientError 2 error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _imp_inflateInit2_ D:\Projets\bin\test_grpc_client\grpc.lib(message_compress.obj) test_grpc_clientError 3 error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _imp_inflate D:\Projets\bin\test_grpc_client\grpc.lib(message_compress.obj) test_grpc_clientError 4 error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _imp_inflateEnd D:\Projets\bin\test_grpc_client\grpc.lib(message_compress.obj) test_grpc_clientError 5 error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _imp_deflate D:\Projets\bin\test_grpc_client\grpc.lib(message_compress.obj) test_grpc_client I have 2 projects, one for the client and one for the server, in the same VS solution. I took my grpc_cpp_plugin.exe, my libraries and the include files in my project folder with the source files of the "Helloworld" example found here : I finally got a plugin which was working. I found a post on github proposing a solution to get the plugin here : (6th post). I tried to build third_party\protobuf\vsprojects\protobuf.sln but it failed with errors about gtest :Įrror 25 error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'gtest/gtest.h': No such file or directory D:\Projets\tools\grpc\third_party\protobuf\src\google\protobuf\io\zero_copy_stream_ 73 1 tests I downloaded it from the github repo (zip download from ). Build command worked in debug and in release.Īs I said, the folder third_party/protobuf is empty. VS disabled some nuget packages by default but I managed to change parameters. Secondary issue : how could i get the complete repo when I clone it on my computer ? I cloned the repo but it didn't appear as it was on github : the third_party folder is made with empty folders (gflags, openssl, protobuf, zlib). I already had protobuf working on my computer. I tried to follow this instruction manual : I'm trying to get started with gRPC but i just can't get through the installation process.Ĭontext :I'm using VS 2013 and working on a c project. ![]() First of all, sorry for the mistakes i'll do in this post : i'm not really fluent in english.
